Translation (En)
Stulos "pillar": just as plēthō yields plēthuō "to be full", *huzō *huzuō and anō anuō "to accomplish", stō "to make to stand" as well yields stuō "to be erect" stusō stulos, as in *khō "to pour" *khuō khusō khulos "juice" oxytone; indeed, these verbal nouns have a different accent.

Comment
Correct derivational etymology. Στύω and στῦλος both come from en enlarged variant of the root of ἵστημι. The derivation of στύω from στῶ, backed by similar pairs, is not correct from a modern point of view.
