[…] νείφω. […] οὗ δεύτερος ἀόριστος ἔνιφον, ὅθεν δοκεῖ ἡ νιφὰς εἶναι καὶ ὁ νιφετός.

Translation (En)

[…] neiphō "to snow". […] the second aorist is eniphon, from which apparently are derived niphas "snowflake" and niphetos "falling snow"
